Performance by the Choir Hátíðarkórinn

To celebrate Iceland’s Constitution Day, four Icelandic choirs have joined forces to form one large choir: Hátíðarkórinn. They will perform on the Open-Air Stage, presenting a selection of beautiful and carefully chosen songs. 

The four choirs — Dóttir, Hafnarbræður, Staka, and Eyja — are all based in Copenhagen, but their members hail from Iceland. The programme is broad and varied, featuring everything from traditional Icelandic fifth-harmony singing to popular Icelandic hits. 

Dóttir and Hafnarbræður have been part of our celebrations since we first marked Iceland’s National Day in Tivoli Gardens in 2022. Staka and Eyja joined three years ago, and having them all on the programme has now become a cherished tradition. We look forward to a festive musical experience on the Open-Air Stage!
